Walid Melhem, BA Econ, is a Senior Manager of Property Tax Recovery within MNP. Based in Edmonton, Walid has over 14 years of experience working with clients with commercial real estate holdings as well as real estate property managers, distribution companies, manufacturers, hotels, golf courses and investment funds.

Walid works closely with his clients to help them maximize the value of their properties by strategically reducing their overall tax burden. He assists clients by effectively managing their property taxes through tax planning, budgeting, market forecasting and assessment appeals that allow clients to balance their plan of action with their future goals. Walid’s direct real estate and property tax consulting experience has given him a unique ability to make complicated tax matters easy to understand, giving his clients the knowledge required to make more strategic business decisions.

Walid gained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Alberta in 2000.
