Steve Wellburn, CPA, CA, is a Partner and Business Advisor with MNP in Victoria. Steve helps clients achieve their goals by providing a wide range of accounting and tax planning services to private businesses in technology, real estate and construction, as well as professionals and high net worth individuals.

Steve works closely with clients to understand their unique situation so he can develop tax solutions that align with their best interests. He also takes the time to help clients understand their options so they can decide what’s right for them.

With an in-depth understanding of tax, Steve assists clients on business purchases and sales, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, succession planning, estate planning, retirement planning and the Scientific Research and Experimental Development program. He views each situation as unique and draws on more than 20 years of experience in public practice to find the best solutions for clients.

Steve has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Victoria. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1996, and has also completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course. Steve volunteers at Camp Imadene and served on the board of directors for several years.
