Scott is a Business Advisor with MNP in Fort St. John and the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality. A growth and profitability advisor, Scott helps owners set goals for their business, move forward and allow them to meet their personal needs and goals.
As part of his advisory role, Scott helps organizations move to cloud-based accounting and transform real-time financial information into real-world business insights and leads the Firm’s Peace Region Ease cloud practice.
Scott works with clients in many industries, including oilfield services and forestry, helping them with startup, tax minimization, estate planning, and buying and selling businesses.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in economics from the University of Victoria. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Certified General Accountant (CGA) in 1996. Scott graduated from the University of Cumbria in England with a Master of Laws in International Business (LL.M) in 2018.
