Senior Vice President, Finance

Robert Lowther, MBA, CPA, CMA provides strategic financial leadership to help achieve MNP’s business objectives. He advises on accounting and financial matters and contributes to strategic, operational and tactical decision making. He is responsible for establishing and executing the finance strategy, including oversight of financial planning and analytics, financial accounting and reporting, partner reporting, treasury management, merger and acquisition review and internal controls. He leads the finance team to ensure delivery of innovative, high quality services to support the firm’s operations and corporate performance management.

Prior to joining MNP, Robert was a CFO and Controller in the real estate, construction and mining industries, executing the financial strategy and operations of major residential developments, and commercial and industrial projects.

Robert is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Robert graduated with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Cornell Executive MBA America’s Program, receiving MBA degrees from Cornell University and Queen’s University. Robert completed his Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Majoring in Accounting and a Certificate in Economics at the University of Regina.

Robert has been involved as a board member of the Calgary Public Library, chairing the audit committee, the Calgary Public Library Foundation and the Regina Open Door Society, chairing the finance and audit committee.
