Patty E. Wood, CIRP, LIT, CPA, CGA, is a Senior Vice President with MNP Ltd. and leads the Corporate Insolvency and Restructuring practice for the B.C. region. With 20 years of experience working exclusively in insolvency and restructuring, Patty has been involved in a wide range of engagements including corporate proposals, bankruptcies and private and court-appointed receiverships.

Patty has acted extensively as Trustee under corporate proposals and was involved for several years in successful reorganizations under the Companies Creditors’ Arrangement Act. Patty has managed numerous insolvency engagements in a wide range of industries, including retail, forestry, manufacturing, real estate, transportation and technology. Patty has also been the Trustee in a number of complex bankruptcies involving individuals who had conducted investment schemes and defrauded investors.

For 10 years prior to public practice, Patty was a Controller for an organization in the manufacturing industry. Her responsibilities included preparing all accounting and financial reports, developing projections and budgets for forecasting and financing, and participating in management and strategic planning.

Patty is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), a Licensed Insolvency Trustee and a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP).
