Working out of MNP’s Virden office, Marla helps her clients succeed through future-oriented discussions, planning techniques that are dynamic and adaptive, timely follow-up, and solid advice backed up by extensive internal resources. Marla works closely with primary agricultural producers, agricultural retail and service entities, small business, oil and gas and related service industries, and investment / holding companies.

Marla, who has served clients since 1996, when she first joined MNP as an articling student, delivers tailored business advisory, performance management, transition and Exit Smart, assurance, tax and all other related services.

Marla grew up on a grain farm northwest of Dauphin, and is familiar with all agribusiness entities, as her parents also operated an equipment dealership. Marla also helps commercial clients and professionals, ranging from restaurants, grocery and hardware stores to travel agencies, trucking companies and gas stations, to dentists, optometrists and pharmacies. Additionally, she serves oil and gas firms and all related services, as well as royalty corporations.

Marla earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm Honours) from the University of Manitoba in 1995. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1998.

Marla is a strong supporter of her local community and serves as board chair of Virden Skills Training and the Virden Employment Skills Centre.
