Partner

Jody is a Partner with MNP’s Specialty Tax group in Toronto. Jody helps private corporations and high net worth individuals, providing tailored tax advice and strategies to help them achieve both their business and personal goals.

Working closely with her clients, Jody advises on a wide range of tax matters, including planning for the purchase or sale of a business, corporate reorganizations, and trust and estate planning. She also advises on tax controversy matters, helping clients resolve disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency audit and appeals divisions. 

Jody has authored and co-authored various articles for the Canadian Tax Foundation and has presented at the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Ontario Tax Conference.

Jody earned a law degree (JD) from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in psychology from Queen’s University in 2007. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and Society of Tax and Estate Practitioners (TEP) and completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course in 2013.
