Jeff Harrison, CPA, CMA

Jeff Harrison, CPA, CMA, is a Partner in MNP’s Indirect Tax Services group in Regina. Drawing on more than 22 years of experience, Jeff solves indirect tax problems for credit unions and other financial institutions as well as for companies in the energy, mining, resources and construction sectors.

Working closely with clients, Jeff helps them understand sales tax rules, how the rules are applied and how to manage sales taxes accordingly. His support includes helping organizations recover sales taxes paid in error and assisting them in defending their filing positions during sales tax audits. In all cases, his overall goals are to eliminate the guesswork involved in applying indirect tax rules and find solutions for every situation clients face.

Prior to joining MNP, Jeff spent more than 12 years in public practice with major firms as their key resource for indirect tax within Saskatchewan. His experience as a GST / HST auditor for Canada Revenue Agency has also given him a wealth of knowledge in the area of sales tax and CRA requirements. Jeff Is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in 1998.
