Cara Light, B.Comm, CPA, CA, is a Senior Manager and Business Advisor based in MNP’s Duncan office. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in public practice, Cara works closely with private enterprises and not-for-profit organizations to provide tailored solutions and strategies for her clients to succeed.

Cara’s love of accounting stems from growing up in an entrepreneurial family. She loves working with not-for-profit and small businesses in helping them achieve not only their compliance needs for financial statements and tax filings, but also in solving various daily accounting and financial issues. In addition, she helps business owners and executors with estate planning and tax compliance.

Cara received a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) from the University of Victoria in 1995. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1999. Cara currently serves as a director of the Cowichan Sportsplex, a member of the Duncan Day Break Rotary, and the President of Ceevacs Roadrunner Club.
