Alex Wiens, CPA, CA, LPA

Alex is a member of MNP’s Assurance and Accounting team in Windsor-Essex and area. With more than a decade-and-a-half of experience, Alex helps companies in the manufacturing, agribusiness, real estate and construction sectors. His audit and advisory background also includes Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers with international operations.

Alex brings extensive experience leading national and international group audit and referral engagements to his role. He is well-versed in a wide range of accounting frameworks, including Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, International Financial Reporting Standards and U.S. GAAP. He also teaches audit and accounting to professional practitioners across Canada.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Mathematics (B.Math) from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2007. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2010.
