Jon MacNeil, CPA, CA, is the Regional Managing Partner for the Greater Toronto Area at MNP. With more than 10 years of experience and technical expertise, Jon works primarily with public companies, many of which are in real estate, biotech and agri-foods. In assisting with accounting and assurance requirements, he also helps ensure clients comply with complex regulatory requirements, information security issues, growing shareholder expectations, privacy matters and investor relations.

As an assurance partner in Toronto, Jon advises in a broad range of areas, such as tax compliance, financial reporting, corporate governance and regulatory and statutory compliance. He has extensive experience helping private companies with their “go public” transaction and the transition into their new compliance requirements.

Jon is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, where he earned a degree with a specialization in finance and administration. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA). Jon maintains his high level of technical knowledge through ongoing professional development to provide his private and public clients with bestin-class service.
